Shuggie is great. I've only given the new Foxygen album two spins so far, not yet decided it. I liked Take the kids off Broadway so hopefully it'll grow on me.

Yeah I think it was through one of these threads I discovered them. Yeah it's nothing groundbreaking, but she has a really great voice.

Yeah, on first couple of listens it seems like the stand-out track.

New Biffy Clyro album leaked, the 1st album of 2013 I'm genuinely super excited to listen too.

And hopefully new Frightened Rabbit should leak this week too. Good week for Scottish music fans.

Local Natives is streaming on iTunes and is really good. Need to listen again but first listen was good and it sounds like they're evolving a bit.

cool story bro: They went to my high school, I went to their first show and was friends with their first drummer.

yeah i think i might need to go to primavera this year, redic line up

had a group that wanted to go last year but plans fell through

Primavera looks great.

Primavera and Coachella have similar lineups... that second day of Primavera is drooooooooooool. Do want.

Coachella lineup looks pretty ****ty to me after the Primavera lineup.

It's baffling to me that The Postal Service apparently became some festival headlining band.
01-25-2013 , 02:05 AM
Coachella lineup is probably the most appealing festival I've ever seen.
01-25-2013 , 06:50 AM
Coachella seems a little weak but obv still want to go.

Primavera looks better to me. Fiona Apple, Camera Obscura, The Knife, Neko Case, **** Buttons, Animal Collective, Killer Mike and Death Grips is a pretty sick list of acts it has and Coachella doesn't.

Had to look twice to see the Day 1 Coachella headliner was the Stone Roses. After all the Rolling Stones headliner rumors, I momentarily thought it was actually happening.

Huoratron! Pretty sure that'll be the first Finnish performer to do Coachella.

A few decent to good albums but nothing I see myself returning to. January has been sub-par for me as well.

Both Coachella and Primavera look awesome obv. Hard to tell which is better, both have some great bands the other doesn't (eg the bands releasing the two best albums of 2012, Woods and Alt-J)

Weird, I would rank No Destruction, On Blue Mountain, San Francisco and Oh Yeah higher
