the second half of RAM really, really picks up. i love 'Get Lucky' and 'Doin' It Right'.

Not sure which track it was because the stream is just one long track, I think 'Motherboard', really enjoyed that as well.

Went to see The Laurels, a great My Bloody Valentine-type band from Sydney on Saturday in LA. Figured they would go on at about 11:00. We got there at 9:45, but they had started promptly at 9:00 and ended at 9:45. Friend forgot his ID anyway. Ugh. I did get to chat with them out front for a bit.

Liking the Savages and have tickets to their LA show in July (on a Tues. at the El Ray). Tired of emo crap. The lead singer's ferocity is reminiscent of early Sinead. What is it with dainty girls with short hair?

I keep hoping that songkick is going to tell me that Deltron 3030 is touring again soon. Watching clips of the shows last year, still probably the highlight of my summer.
