Only Watch the Throne and MBDTF come close to albums we knew were coming out I think. In Rainbows/TKOL were pretty spontaneous. Wouldn't put JT album close, although it probably is and will obviously sell more. My Bloody Valentine is a step down I feel too although I hope it meets expectations as much.

Turns out that the Jai Paul album was illegally leaked after his laptop was stolen. (If you believe that).

So a bunch of stolen demos are still better than 99% of the music released so far this year.

yeah i heard that daft punk wasnt real. idgaf still like it. pretty sure the fake plastic beach is one of my top 10 listened to albums.

Junip - Junip finally came out. Pure sex. Very mellow compared to their other stuff.

Fake Daft Punk has promising moments but the first vocals are atrociously mixed and there is weird amateurish changes in audio quality throughout. Also it's weirdly repetitive and boring. I mean, if that was really the final version, uhhh that would be pretty disappointing.
