That's for sure the most oddly-specific request I've ever seen. Really wish I could recommend some, lol. Looking forward to a reply from someone...

Something similar to this,http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j7_lSP8Vc3o
Or this, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4rwscL7nF3M

Came back from asia and there were really nice songs at clubs (especially in macau), but most artists are pretty unknown to westerns I guess, so thought maybe some1 would recommend something.

Late to the party but I actually think that the first half is not bad at all. Giorgio is a fantastic track.

Not in love with the new Deerhunter -- needs less Bradford, more Lockett imo.

Oooohhh the Savages album is streaming too. 2013.
Loving this Still Corners track, best thing I've heard in ages. The rest of the album is really good as well, but nothing quite at the same standard.

Savages are so close to what I've been wanting for the last few years. Really energetic and abrasive riffs, but there's something missing that I can't put my finger on. I think it's that they pulled out the post-punk playbook but then didn't really bring anything new.

Still, given it plenty of listens and won't hesitate to see them if they tour.

Haven't read the thread but did a search and came up with nothing. Heard this on XM the other day and thought of 2p2.

Bears Den - Agape

Matthew E White's album Big Inner has really got under my skin over the last month or so. Great soulful, gospel inspired stuff.

Think it was a late 2012 release, but pretty sure noone's mentioned it.

I just heard yeah yeah yeah's – sacrilege. Pretty awesome.

(Here's where you tell me that song is actually three years old)

A couple songs I've heard this week on XM that I really like:

The Neighbourhood - Sweater Weather

∆ (alt-J) - Breezeblocks

New **** Buttons

Not sure how much I like it on first few listens tbh, but both their previous albums are among my favorites from the last years, especially Tarot Sport, so really looking forward to a new album from them.
