If you mean the entire indie music world playing there, then yeah, disgusting

disgusting meaning "incredible"
03-30-2013 , 11:20 AM
of course, it's on my musical bucket list.

The style I like the most is mellow/sweet/girl-fronted. Here are several songs I listened to a lot in March. But random recs are fine.

If mellow and girl fronted indie is what you like I would recommend Sambassadeur's first and self-titled album and the follow up EP Coastal Affairs. Criminally overlooked releases, I'd say the album is in the top 3 Swedish album ever.

Well, mellow girl fronted indie is what Sweden do. I'd recommend checking out Club 8, Acid House Kings, Taken By Trees and The Concretes as well.

Yes it is. Release date is 4/9 but you can hear it on NPR:

Saw Foxygen live the other night, they opened for Unknown Mortal Orchestra. That was some weird **** lol. Maybe the album is different but the vocals were so bizarre live.

I was considering making a trip to Seattle for this but I haven't heard of the majority of the lineup. I was hoping some of you all have seen a few of these acts and can make a rec.

New deerhunter song is pretty awesome but I'll admit I'm pretty biased.

Anyone seen deathgrips live?

They're playing my local spot next month, I'm not the biggest fan of the music but probably going to go along just cause I've heard so much about their live show, and it's cheap.

Enjoying Overgrown.

The RZA track, Digital Lion, and the album closer are the standout tracks for me.
