Re: What to do on Flop? Turn?

Hi man,

It being so deep we can 3B bigger pre, as a function of stack depth. But the standard is fine too.

Itís a 3B pot so this flop smacks both ranges. Ours more. The cb is good, we want stacks in on most run outs here.

The turns a great card. We can check here if we think villain might bet, a x/r would be a great way to get money in the pot. A cb is good too. We want to get the pot building so deep. Villain calls a huge chunk of his flop continuing range. Ax, Tx, KQ, JJ and some amount of straight and fdís. Ul.

Gabe got it right.

The only thing I can add is take your image into account in making your decision on the turn. The tighter your image, the more reason to trap on the turn -- villain doesn't think you'll bet without a strong hand. If you image is more active, the more reason to continue with a c-bet -- villain will believe your bet range is wider.

I agree you should size up your preflop and flop bets. The turn is actually one of the worst cards for you though. I think you have to play the turn that way. It's a bad card, so check. You tried sizing the bet down, and that didn't work. Check and hope for a bet or a check call on the river.
