What players in this forum give good advice?

Do you think you are a winner in the 1/2 6 max games these days?

How do you keep track of your image against regs while playing so many tables?

What type of note taking system do you use?
1. umm that's a tough question. futuredoc, the_main, calleddownlight come to mind. there are a lot of other but those are just the guys that i thought of right away. of course cmar is v good as well. donktastic isn't the greatest because he plays so LAG for full ring that his advice isn't really applicable to a lot of players. he plays his style very well, his advice just won't work for players with a different image. although he did point out recently to put in your stats so he can adjust for that, so maybe i'm wrong there.

yes, of course. poker isn't that tough imo. i dislike the variance in 6 max though, and i find full ring to have much much easier decisions for me.

ya know, i was just wondering that. i have a photographic memory, so i think i can remember where on the table somebody has been playing hands with me. i have recently been playing very well agianst regs with history. i think it's just a talent of mine tbh.

i don't relaly take notes other than if i see donks who have disguised stats like a 20/9 who's just a total donk postflop.
I give good advice? Thanks. I will tell you that I do post better than I play which sucks. I do the same thing with remembering where players are sitting that play pots against me. Thats part of the reason that I tile instead of stack tables because I can just be like "oh seat 1 called 3 barrels with TPNK" or something of that sort. Also, eveytime bottomset 3bets me I just looks for a table where I have position on him and 3bet him the next time he opens at that table .

The only questions that comes to mind right now are:

What spots and players are the best to look for when bluff raising?

When is it good to turn a hand with SD value into a bluff (i.e. I check the river and if he checks behind I'm probably winning, but when he vbets I'm probably [censored])? I think I pick the wrong spots because nitty regs show up with top pair hands a lot when I do this.

Best times and opponents to go for river checkraises (as bluffs or for value)?

Is it better to open fold or open limp 22-66 UTG and UTG+1 (if you wanted to balance a second action with raising)?

Favorite Casino in Vegas?

Any other gambling habits (even for lowstakes)?

"What spots and players are the best to look for when bluff raising?"

typically the tags with high steal percentages and high cbet %s. i do it in position and generally pick lower flops.

"When is it good to turn a hand with SD value into a bluff (i.e. I check the river and if he checks behind I'm probably winning, but when he vbets I'm probably [censored])? I think I pick the wrong spots because nitty regs show up with top pair hands a lot when I do this."

I really avoid bluffing there because I think many regs don't vbet enough, so when they bet river they usually have something they'll call the bluff with.

"Best times and opponents to go for river checkraises (as bluffs or for value)?"

best times are obviously when they're in no way committed to calling the raise...also guys with high river agg.

"Is it better to open fold or open limp 22-66 UTG and UTG+1 (if you wanted to balance a second action with raising)?"

open limp. players are passive enough that you get enough limps to make it worthwhile without having to call a raise.

"favorite casino in vegas?"

definitely the venetian. just a great poker room, well run.

"Any other gambling habits (even for lowstakes)? "

I don't play any casino games. I do little $5 or $10 prop bets with my friends all the time, especially when we go bowling.

bigkawik plays back at the absolute worst times, when it's obvious he's beat. he has no hand reading skills. is that you bigkawik??

narena has no fear of going to war repeatedly with regulars so it's difficult to continue to play pots with him as it makes for a high variance game...i hate that.

no i am not bigkawik. I just thought it was interesting, because i'd actually rather play with narena than with bigkawik. No doubt narena is a good player, but bigkawik's erratic play sometimes makes me nervous. Other people who make me nervous are the guok, pupon, and raylapsley. Maybe im giving bigkawik too much credit?

Do you have a pretty static opening range while 16-tabling, or does it vary heavily based on table dynamics, who's left to act, etc.?

Do you have any advice for playing big pair hands out of position in once raised pots w/100BB effective stacks? On wet boards/dry boards, mostly vs. players apt to float or otherwise play non-straightforwardly?

Also, I too suffer from poker ADD. I like to play Full Ring, 6-max, Limit, No Limit, Stud, hi/lo, etc. Do you feel like anything's changed where you're going to actually stick to online NLFR (where you have your highest EV, presumably), or do you think you'll bounce back and forth anymore? Did you find playing different forms kept you fresh, mentally, or was more a waste of time?

What are your mid and long-term poker goals?
Where do you see yourself this time next year and beyond in terms of stakes, bankroll, profit etc?
Would you be happy making $150 an hour for the rest of your poker life?

there's certainly an overall structure, but my play is slightly different on every table. as i said earlier, i'm somewhat gifted in that i have a photographic memory. it helps me adjust easier than most people to table conditions.

if guys are very tricky, i think wet boards are better to get it in. tricky generally means good so i don't see them trying to bluff on dry boards. of course i don't just auto fold, they're going to have to 2 barrel me, and show down a hand a few times to get that respect.

well, right now my mindset is that i've yoyoed my bankroll up and down too much and this time i'll just grind full ring. i've pretty much figured out that im most suited for full ring; i have a ton of hands there and my natural style makes for a decent winrate.

6 max helped me a lot in postflop hand reading and playing against players like mr donktastic. really opened my eyes about opponents ranges.

i would say right now i expect to continue grinding 1/2 for a few more months, then start adding 2/4 full ring games into my sessions. i'm not sure where my ceiling is with full ring; once i get there if i'm not happy, i'll have enough money to live on that i can start something else from the bottom that will help me achieve my goals.

right now just make enough money to start investing in real estate. that's a long way off. long term poker goals are supplementing my real estate income through poker. right now i don't really have any evidence of breaking through to nose bleed stakes. i don't even have much experience at mid stakes.

hopefully in one year i'll have a 75k+ roll, i would be playing 2/4 and a little 3/6 also with 1/2 as my go-to limit whenever confidence is down or to come out of a downswing.

right now i'm very happy with 150/hour, but long term, no. 500/hour would be great, but as i said, i have no idea what my ceiling is yet.
