Ive started betting sports seriously with the help of a friend that runs a betting website and therefore im privy to his picks and he is a beast. As for the micro betting thread i started it was more to just be able to bet almost every game that is ever on tv as im a complete action junkie. I struggle to watch sport without money on it even if its only $5 - $10.

As for books i think i like the Greek or Bet Jamaica the best

You play really tight compared to the more laggy style advocated by a lot of 2p2ers. You said you started out 11/4, so I'm guessing it's just kind of a personality trait? Do you ever experiment with a LAG game?

You start a lot of tables. Is most of your profit from playing fishy players HU or short-handed, or waiting for tables to fill without too many regs?

How do you deal with the different regs you see? Note taking during a session, reviewing hands after a session and making notes, poring over their stats? Is playing back at regs or specifically avoiding them a part of your game? Is most of the money at 50NL/PL coming from the fish, not the good regs or even the breakeven ones?
I am really tight as compared with most of the people on 2+2 but i have always been of the opinion that there is little point in playing a 16/14 style if you a) cant play it well and b) the style doesnt work against people that arent willing to fold. I think if you understand your competition that fitting your game to it is best. I dont have the desire to move up and therefore i can play somewhat exploitably to better players as the better players arent the ones with the money i want.

I start tables because i dont like passing money about between the same 6 regs that are always at my tables

I dont do as much session reviewing as i should, most likely because im not really sure what im looking for. I tend to make notes on regs pretty extensively at the tables and play based on those notes and tendencies that i have seen them have over time. Most of the money is obv made from fish but being profitable, even slightly, against regs will certainly help the WR

Yeah it was a huge win for me. I almost quit my job to go "pro" in fantasy football.

I'm definitely in for next year.

Not sure if you answered this before but your game is obviously solid, and you beat 50NL at a steady clip why the lack of desire to move up at least to 100NL?

Surely just doubling your hourly earn in rakeback/fpps alone would make it worth it.

An excellent player and no doubt an even better person. This is bound to be a great Well! Much success to you my friend in Life, with your g/f and future plans, and in the upcoming Grind House.

No questions, just wanted to let you know I was about and in your corner.

If you were xxxxEastlandxxxx would you stab yourself in the leg or somewhere else?

Do you think they should bring back the yearly Scotland v England footy games?

Is this miniFTOPs series going to be the one where we finally ship a decent result?

Will you beat me in our prop bet for the month?

+1111 to all the praise for El Nino. He's been a really solid friend for the last few months and has helped me a ton with my game. Thank you sir I hope I'm going to be able to make it to Vegas this year and the micro grind house so I can shake your hand in person.

Really cant answer why i havent moved up. Due to some circumstances beyond my control i currently am forced to play for a living and as a result tend to withdraw a substantial amount of money winnings for expenditure, which doesnt allow me to build the 100nl roll that i would like. I mean id want 10k and i just dont keep that much in my account so kind of makes moving up hard. That said i could and should probably move up and get the benefits of rakeback at the higher limit

All i will say about the guy is that he sure does play a lot of poker without improving. I was amazed by his PTR and his lack of improvement. Only guy i will fold bottom set to on a dry board.

100%

Is this miniFTOPs series going to be the one where we finally ship a decent result?

Doubtful. We have made some decent runs but cant seem to get over the hump. Altho i will be playing a full schedule so hopefully.

Will you beat me in our prop bet for the month?

Not a chance, you are crushing. That said next month your not getting a headstart. Altho after having a db review with Mpethy im holding out hope of crushing your soul

I appreciate all the kind words. If only my gf could read this on the occasions that i piss her off then my world would be a better place. Glad to have been able to help although i think you did most of the changes without me. Never thought id be this happy to have a Jock as a friend. And yes get to Vegas

i would need to take a years conversion course to convert the degree and i really didnt click in the law field so im thinking that i might run my own business.

I wonder if my gf considers charging $25 an hour to coach players a regular job ????

Why not? It's pretty steady and reliable work, I'd imagine and I'm sure at that price, you'd have a good market of microstakers.
