The villain here is very Loose/Passive running 30/3/0.8 over 100+ hands at the table. I was at this table for a while running a little stuck, so naturally I love my hand against this calling station, only he calls the flop and min raises the turn. On the river, I decide to gay-bet $7 because I felt he would just min raise me again, and it was the best way to see a showdown cheaply.
My question is how to play against these min raises from L/P opponents on dry boards. Should I just do what I did and try to get to showdown as cheaply as possible, or should I be running for cover? (Although I think folding is way too weak here) His AF is less than 1 at this table over 100+ hands, and his line (call, min raise, min raise) is not the norm from him. In general, how should I react to this "call, min raise turn" line from L/P villains with AF's of less than 1? How often does this min raising line from this type of opponent turn out to be a monster?
