i use mouse scroll for 1SB

though you saw it changed by position and is always slightly randomized for no reason

Very nice video, thanks for doing this.

Just a question about villains play on the hand where you got AQ on the button and the big blind 3bets you with A8o. Is it bad to 3bet A8o against someone who opens as wide as you are? Doesn't his ace gives him a blocker against the better aces in your range, which gives him better fold equity.

I think the best play for villain here are : 3bet>>>>fold>call but you seem to say that 3betting isn't really good here.

i just meant HE isnt going to be able to 3b it well because he wont be able to out extract, nor out minimize, against a good LAG (of course, he was on 3 of my tables, so he probably just thought i was a loose idiot...)

Thanks for making this. Question - do you find this style is easier to play at 25NL than say 50 or 100NL? I ask because it seems like when I played 25NL, everyone folds to cbets all the time. lol But at 50NL+, this obv isn't as much the case. And since you are looking for folds, do you find yourself double/triple barreling more to achieve this?

Another way of asking, I'd assume there would be fewer of the spots you are looking for the higher the stakes, so how does a LAG compensate for this?

great question. I run this style often during the daytime hours at 50NL. I really couldn't run this at 100NL comfortably given the added 3b-ing going on pf and the fact that TAGs are better and adjust (floating, 3b-ing, bluff raising, etc)

A LAG isnt allowed to play like this at higher levels...so they compensate by being more selective with their spots and sadly being closer to a semiLAG =)

I thought the theory and commentary was great but the content in the video was not. What I mean is its pretty easy to play aggressive when you land the nuts time and time again. the video should have been a tutorial on how to be a luck box.

OBV. that that is Split's fault for running good in a video, wish he coulda ran like ass and not made some cash while making a free video for us.

Well, that's kind of missing the point. It's more about the style and the table image. Kind of helps to have idiot opponents, though. What was up with the OOP check raise with the guy with the AK early on in the video?

I loved the parts where you were 3betting isoers. I had position on a guy earlier who was punishing limpers every time and I would 3 bet him light to take down the large raise as well as all the limps. It was sooo delicious.

I just think alot of beginners to this strategy will look at how successful you were in this video and then boot up stars immediately, try to apply what they have seen, and get themselves into alot of trouble cause they dont get the hands you got. An example might be that hand where you 3bet A9s agianst AK and landed top pair, didnt cbet(good), then you turn the nuts, then river the stone nuts... how can a beginner learn from that. the two most important streets of the hand came giftwrapped. it just would have been more helpful in that instance, if you didnt improve, and then demonstrated some options about what to do when you get in those tough spots, which when you are playing 35/28 or whatever, you will get into, no matter how well you pick your spots pf.

also, i didnt believe the 9/7 was iso'ing pf, i thought he was raising for value, which he was.

the fact that you think this means you didnt understand the video. the most important street was preflop, and almost more importantly, the flop check

and yea, obvi a 9/7 will have value hands in his range...and like i said in the vid...i didnt think his stats were real on his current image
