Hi, my second hand I've posted today. This one is unformatted because I played it on my mobile. I'm posting this because I have a lot of similar situations where I have top pair, good kicker, am out of position, and facing aggression.

6 handed, NL5.
I have about 100 BBs, Villain has about the same.

UTG raised to $0.15c.
SB calls.
Hero in BB calls with AQo.

Flop: As Tc 6d rainbow.
SB checks, BB checks, Villain bets $0.39 into $0.44 pot.
SB folds, Hero calls.

Turn: 8s
Hero checks, BB bets $0.90 into $1.10 pot (roughly). Hero calls.

River: 6c
Hero checks, Villain bets $3.50 all-in into $2.80 pot (roughly). Hero folds.

I had wanted to just check call the hand down for as cheap a showdown as possible. His turn and river bets came pretty much instantly, without much thought at all. Can I read into this at all?

I thought about 3 betting preflop. Should I have done?
Should I have raised on the flop, and then folded to more action later?

If I held AK, would the answers change? (I'd certainly 3bet this preflop, but how about postflop?).

I was suspicious of it to be honest, betting so much onto a dryish board on every street. But I think all that I'm beating here is a bluff.

I would squeeze here preflop. Villain may be UTG but 6max UTG isn't the same as full ring.

As played I'd possibly fold the turn given villain's sizing but I think the river fold is definitely correct.
