Folding AK on the bubble with 5bb to a MP open as BB?

Few friends of mine suggested folding AK on the bubble to an open in the BB from MP with 5bb is the better option rather than trying to double up to a stack size with fold equity going into the post bubble bust out when you win.
What's the best play in the long run, what does it depend on and what would you do?

This is a cash game forum bud. I'll be honest with you and say that I'm not afraid to bust with AK on the bubble.

Cashgame grinder, no idea on turny concepts. BUT my opinion:
If you would survive to cash by folding your BB (essentially bubble bursts in the next rund) I think it is CORRECT to fold AA here ICM wize...
For example it is OK to min-cash a big turny that you satellited in for cheap and score good, but if you want to survive ling enough to even think about top spots, you have to take your chances...
BTW I'm not folding AK here no matter what. In fact I busted out of a lot of turnies just on the bubble because of it Vs hands like 55-88... That's why I'm not playing turnies :-D
