[MICRO] To raise or not to raise: That is the question

Quiet little micro-stakes or small stakes game at a Las Vegas locals joint on a Sunday afternoon.
Early position player makes standard open to $12. You've been watching him, he's not been out of line. You put him toward the top of his range.
You're in BB. You peek down and see Ac-Kc.
First question: Raise or just call?
OK, let's say you just call.
Flop is K-J-10 rainbow. You check, EP player bets half pot. Raise or just call?

I’m always raising AKs pre, even against nits.
Flop, in a single raised pot, you are in a bad spot. He could now easily have every 2 pairs possible and even some straights. I’m still calling but never raising this.

I'd raise pre. As played call the bet. If the turn blanks and he bets again then we've probably got a hard decision to make.

Always raise pre, more combos of hands that r/f or r/c to then fold to a c bet, had you 3 bet pre large you would be able to narrow down that range alittle but yeh as played tough.

- does the rainbow flop include a C. that's pretty important.
- Pre-flop, 3bet button but you have to make sure your not doing it with top tier hands. you have to include other Ax like A4-5, suited connectors etc. This way, you're harder to read.
- but to answer question, I'd raise the flop.
- since you just called from the button, you have most of the kj,k10,j10,Q10,Q9 combo's in your range.
/not an expert.
