Hero (BTN): 196.75 BB

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has A A

UTG raises to 3 BB, fold, fold, Hero calls 3 BB, fold, fold

Flop: (7.5 BB, 2 players) 3 J 9
UTG bets 5.38 BB, Hero calls 5.38 BB

Turn: (18.25 BB, 2 players) 7
UTG bets 15 BB, Hero calls 15 BB

River: (48.25 BB, 2 players) 3
UTG bets 76.63 BB and is all-in, Hero calls 76.63 BB

I just called preflop because the BB loves to 3bet and I want the Fish in de SB in the Pot.

OTR there are so many missed draws and he could even shove KK or QQ for value and my Hand is largly underepped. So I decided to call the overbet.

Preflop is a huge, huge mistake. BB looks like they're probably an aggro reg, not an aggro whale. This hand makes up a huge chunk of your winrate (assuming you have one), and you're hurting your bottom line by not trying to win the maximum. Most of the time when you win a big pot with AA, it's a 3bet/4bet pot, or all the money went in preflop. AA isn't nearly as good anymore most of the time in a single raised pot once the flop is dealt, especially with more than 2 players in the pot

Regs probably aren't shoving the river for value with overpairs unless they're not very good or think you're a fish
