Pot sized bet with straight on board Pot sized bet with straight on board

Hey Everyone I would like to get some thoughts on this hand.

I was dealt pocket kings and the board ran out a straight and then I faced a pot sized bet and wasn't sure whether to call or fold.

We had only played 30 odd hands together so no reads or tags.

100NL FR Ignition

Eff stack 101.5BB

Pre:
MP limps, Hero (MP+1) raises $5 with KK
MP calls

Flop: 9JT
Pot: $12.50
MP checks
Hero bets $6.25
MP calls

Turn: 9JT 8
Pot: $25
MP checks
Hero checks

River: 9JT 8 7
Pot: $25
MP bets $25
Hero?

Cheers

C-bet should be bigger. It's a wet board and we want to make draws fold often enough. 2/3-3/4 should be okay.

AP, I would fold the river. Villains limp/call seems fishy and if Fish make big bets, I tend to believe them.

Side question; Are limp/calls and 5x-opens common in Ignition 100NL?

Gotta agree with Teski, I would probaly go bigger on the flop but still check the turn and fold river vs a pot size bet.

Thanks for your comments.

I see limp calls quite often. 5x opens are not common but I like to iso someone fishy for around this much.

I did fold the river. Went back and looked at villains cards and they had AJdd.
