I want to start using agression factor on my hud. I don't use it b/c i don't know how to analyze the number. I was wondering if somebody can help me..

1) What's exactly should i use it for?

2)Is it more for pre flop or post flop play(or both)?

3. What's a good sample size?

4) What other stats do you use it with?

5)Can you give me a range of tight and aggressive players?

Thanks for the help! I can't wait
to add aggression factor to my arsenal

Ok so about to hit 20,000 hands of 2nl Time for a review! Because i want to crush 2nl and move to 5nl! Any Advice or Observations would be greatly appreciated

My first review was about 3k hands and from some advice it turned me into winning player, became positionally aware, and tried not to be so fit/fold.

I had small tilt session from about 15k hands onwards and completley lost my game, started play oop and calling with junk trying to hit dream flops, and forgot there was a fold button hahaha but started playing my winning game around 16.5k hands!

Im currently in process of tightening up SB & BB Play I think i need to review COTW on Blinds

P.s Lost a about $30 taking shot a 5nl and played like donk so gotta get my roll up so i can take another shot! (5nl was filtered out)

Sample size is kind of small i guess - im sure there are guys here for whom 10K hands at rush is a days play.

5NL rush tips - note - these tips are designed to exploit tendancies at 5NL rush, and are not nessicarily good poker playing.

MR small pocket pairs from EP, AQ/AJs/KQ. If you miss, check fold. If you hit, go for 2 streets of value (Flop and river generally) unless you hit 2 pair or better. 1/3-1/2 pot turn with good draws.

Pot AK/TT+ from EP. Start building that pot.

3x with 99-77. Decent hands, but harder to play post flop. Save that 1/2BB when you miss (it adds up).

MP 3x your entire range but small PP, which will still be a MR.

CO looks fine. Open to .12.

MR the BTN pretty much 100% of the time unless you have a read. You will EASILY win enough pre-flop to make this massively profitable, so you are basically free rolling post flop. It is perfectly fine to check fold if you miss.

Play really tight to 3 bets. Don't worry about defending your blinds. Look for good spots to bluff catch.

You should post in the stats thread that is stickied, and read the master stickie as well as peruse the cotw thread.

Thanks for the advice I did read the sticky post on stats but I figured play at 50NL and 100NL would be much different than 5NL. Another thing I'm having trouble with is figuring how often to C-bet? Should I just play fit or fold and go for big value? My C-bet success is only around 45-50% on dry boards which is at best a small margin of profit.

Also my hand history is so small because I recently changed up my play I have about 50k hands at rush poker and hopefully won't have to be stuck here too much longer.

I pretty much only C-bet in premium spots without a hand at 5NL. I think my C-bet percent is around 45%.

WOW, that blows my mind. I was just about to tell him to C-bet more, but I have never played below 25NL and I tend to be more on quantity then quality at RUSH.

Well, my C-bet is a bit low as I tend to check back a lot of value hands on the flop as I find I often get two streets of value instead of 1 when I do that, but my C-bet success rate at 5NL is ******EDLY low (under 40% in over 20K hands). One of the changes with rush poker is that since people are playing better hands, they tend to be MUCH stickier post flop.

BTW, another point I meant to make. DO NOT WIDEN YOUR ISO RANGE without a read. There are SOOOO many players limping premium hands that it isn't worth it. Limp fold or limp calls with whatever is one of the first notes I take.

Oh, and just for compairisons sake, my C-bet at 25NL is around 60%.

Did you change anything after 8,000 hands?
Stats and Graphs Analysis Thread Quote

Here are some positional stats, I guess I just dont know what is supposed to be optimal. If I could get some help to see what is truly optimal that would be great. Possibly what is a good range of hands for where I am at or a post that could point me in the right direction.

No I didn't change anything after 8000 hands all pretty much the same style, LAG based on the HUD, TAG when faced with a decision. Here is the chart that would be immediately before my first one starts, and you can see where I was having a problem..............bleeding red .

At 8000 hands if you are wondering why my steals go up, had alot of people chasing draws, and I kept pushing them out with air.

some background to me and my game... ima micro nl player, 2/5nl... currently at 2nl and gona jump back into 5nl next week... i play short handed and full ring but for this thread i want feedback on my full ring micro 24tabling game... im putting in 6-9k hands a day now and winning about 4-6bb/100 at 2nl, i would love to increase this and to keep it up for 5nl as well which is why i made this thread

stats:
2000 hands played and saw flop:
- 20 times out of 255 while in small blind (8%)
- 116 times out of 257 while in big blind (45%)
- 71 times out of 1488 in other positions (5%)
- a total of 207 times out of 2000 (10%)

Pots won at showdown - 33 out of 49 (67%)
Pots won without showdown - 79

^^^ i bounce around about 65-70% pots won at showdown and 10-15% hands played and saw flop( it depends on the cards i get in my session)

theory(metagame):

-in general my full ring 24tabling game is a tag approach but i do switch to being passive vs fishy short stackers or fishy single tablers who try to play every pot, i play the multi tablers who are regs more aggressive post flop especially in position and i make my decisions not off of hud stats cause i dont use one but off of there table image and # of tables playing in cohesion with their stack size... hence im not always raising fish who called before me with aq aj etc because im missing the flop alot of the time and they dont fold if they made any pair and cbetting is just spewing $ vs these guys... im only raising with pocket pairs if the guys to act after me have large stack sizes and know how to fold if they miss, folding aq,kq,kj,j10 etc unless im in position and my bet sizing is 50-70% of the pot when im betting for value in general

so yeah basically i was hoping you guys would be able to get an idea on how i play from this thread alone and critique & give feedback on my thinking and stats etc... tryna increase my winrate and crush these limits so any advice would be helpful, thanks in advance

Ok so I know it's only been 2000 hands at NL10 but I really don't get where I've been going wrong. This is multi-tabling 4-5 tables at a time too. I've tried and I think the numbers show I've been playing a good TAG game. The only thing I can think of is that the NL10 level is too low for me, as I find a lot of players calling far too often, and usually when I have the nuts and end up sucking out on me for big pots. Other than that, I pick up tons of small pots and usually am spot on with a lot of my reads. Any ideas?
