and as an added bonus most bots/hybrids were caught by the community not by Stars based on the PTR type of stuff out there.
And Stars was better IT dept wise back then.

With zoom being as far as I know unavailable for that type of tracking we have to trust Stars alone to catch them.
Stars (nowadays) can't seem to fix a vip progress bar in 2 weeks and some missing HHs that I saw ppl complain about.

While playing some zoom there were times where I suspected some guys. And as far as I've seen on 2+2 PLO bot rings and reg tables bots were caught.
I don't remember seeing zoom bots being caught.

That PLO botring was playing zoom and imo their main edge came from cardsharing not from some crazy sophisticated strategies. As far as i know stars detects hybrids (dunno if bots aswell) by analyzing their decisions. Only examples i have are from spins - basically players who have very low variance in their decisions and who are playing a complicated game tree are the ones who get busted. When u get busted u r required to send a video of urself playing and if they see that now u have variance in ur decisions ur getting banned. But if u r a good hybrid who exploits fish and simplifies close ev decisions its possible to roll on forever. Just make sure ur not following the gto hu pio charts (which are freely available online lol w up to 25bb limp/rc/rf/f mixed strategy) all the time and u should be safe. Dunno if the same goes for cash games, but w lolamaya it seems likely.

There have been a lot of players banned from nlhe. I can think of at least 10 accounts off the top of my head such as romulaz, kalben, IDDDQD55, D3xter, malefactor etc. playing both reg and zoom tables.

they were all banned from trackable(at that time even zoom was) tables and because of other players catching and reporting them, right?

Could i get some cliffs on the state of the games? FR traffic, rake, "rewards", bots, ratholing, scripting, game quality etc

a bit less tables at 600, 400 and 200, about the same at 100nl from what I can tell.
Rake - rakeback cut to 30% or smth and about to get cut again this year

rewards-no reload or deposit bonuses, some instant cash rewards from 1$ to 5k$ for hitting some points in a day(making flushes, sets, etc)

bots-reg tables reg don't feel like bots to me but neither did before so...

ratholling-less than before, about 1-2 per FR table

scripts- same as before but without the Reserve issue where ppl reserving blocked a table

game quality- regs seem about the same as before, fish seem to have improved they also seem to run way better than before but this may be just my personal experience

Stars customer service and software has drastically decreased in quality.

Between 10-50 ring 100-200 depending on time of day. I received my first reload offer after not having played a hand for 5 months or so
