I wouldn't think that an offsuit 6 changes much on the river. Check call might have been better, but if you think you're good enough to bet, then I think you have to make the crying call.

Yes, I think it's highly possible a missed flush draw, 99, JJ, QQ. I think there are too many hands you beat.

checking and calling river, lots of bricked draws, we unblock Kx hearts. Turn can also be larger, quite a few draws can call us, some gain equity on this turn specifically. Think about what boats / trips / straights he can have on river. Why would he not raise trips for value on such a coordinated turn? 79 makes no sense if it's not 79 of hearts, as he flatted flop 1/2 pot multi way. His line is pretty BS imo. Looks like "I have a draw, just call" turns into "No, wait! I have a made hand! Please fold!"
