This is weird, a couple things stand out to me. First, I don't remember the last time I saw someone donk out on the flop for close to full pot with trips. Also, who check-raises 8x on the turn here unless it's specifically Th8d? And again, who donks flop with T8. Villain's line screams fish though, so I guess anything is possible. But, if the fish thinks he should lead with his trips on the flop instead of x-r, then why all of a sudden x-r the turn?
I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Villain play Tx the same way, so he probably has as many Tx as 8x hands. Of course we're chopping if it's Tx, but he only needs a couple random bluffs to make calling break even. That combined with everything I mentioned above, there's no way I'm folding here. I'm expecting a chop or some random crap because villain is a fish on tilt. If he has an 8 then so be it.
