My Thoughts- Preflop, I decided to flat since I didn't necessarily want to play for stacks with AK, but given how wide UTG is raising and MP2 is 3betting, I think a 4bet would have been the better play, with the plan to call if either of them jams. I'm interested to hear what everyone thinks of this line as opposed to the one I took, as well as what to do with a less premium hand like AQ or maybe TT (I think I should still look to 4bet against these opponents, but I'm less certain), as well as what to do if my opponents were solid TAGs (in this case, I think a call with AKs is correct, but again, I'm uncertain).
After the flop and a bet and a raise from the two aggressive players, I was really unsure of how to proceed. Honestly, a fold doesn't seem unreasonable, but I felt like I had too much equity to fold with two overs, the gutshot nut straight draw, and the backdoor nut flush draw. In the moment, I decided to make the call with the plan to jam to any non-heart queen, king, or ace, and possibly any low spades on the turn. I'm still really uncertain whether this plan is any good though, because many of my "outs" like the king and ace might just complete some two pairs and straights and leave me without the best hand. Perhaps a fold on the flop is simplest/best.
On the turn, I hit a non-heart king, so I followed through and jammed, and got a fold. I think my opponent might call with some worse hands (AJ, KQ), so I don't completely hate this bet, but like I said in the previous paragraph, I still don't feel entirely comfortable with my plan. It's also unclear whether UTG would even check if they had a hand like AJ or KQ given their maniac behavior, so once again, I feel uncertain about my line.
Any feedback is appreciated.
