Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has K K

fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to 3 BB, fold, fold, fold, fold, BB calls 2 BB

Flop: (6.5 BB, 2 players) J 3 6
BB bets 3 BB, Hero calls 3 BB

Turn: (12.5 BB, 2 players) 9
BB bets 9 BB, Hero calls 9 BB

River: (30.5 BB, 2 players) J
BB bets 15 BB,

I have no stats on the big blind, I think it was his first hand at the table. Should I be raising the flop here or the turn here? Feels like if I do I only get action from 2 pair or better.

The river is a really bad card for me because I feel like this is going to be Jx quite a bit of the time. The only hands I beat here in my head are QQ, TT or QT. Is it OK to fold or should I make the crying call now that I have gone this far?

I like a bigger sizing pre, like 4-5 BB.
Raise flop.

AP I'm calling. I think you're funneling villains range down pretty narrow.

Call is fine, no reason to raise our anything crazy.

Why bigger pre? Because we have KK?

I think raising flop is okay but as played we have to call turn but river is a fold imo I just don’t think we see any hands we beat that play this way.

Not because we have KK. I just think a standard raise should be larger than 3bb unless the table is super tight, which isn't normally the case at 2nl.

I think your preflop bet is fine, if this is your standard first in bet. You don't want to open bigger with just premium hands, the other players will eventually pick up on this and adjust to your play. The way the hand played out I think you have to call. You are getting 3 to 1 pot odds so you only need to be right 25% to break even or have positive EV. Like Havick said, I think you have them on too narrow a range.

I don't like the way you played the flop however. You are in position with KK and you let BB drive the action. That strategy can be fine with a LAG player you know has a wide range and will try to bluff a fair amount of time but you don`t have that info here. You needed raise the flop 3 BB bet to 9 - 12 BB. If they call, it will help you narrow down their range and you can decide how you want to continue from there, If they come over the top on you, I'd consider folding since they are representing a hand that is stronger than KK.
