Hi everybody,

the following hand took place on a zoom table. I have no further Hud information on the villain.

Poker Stars, $0.01/$0.02 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 9 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

    BTN: $4.30 (215 bb)
    SB: $2.07 (103.5 bb)
    BB: $1.70 (85 bb)
    UTG+1: $1.03 (51.5 bb)
    UTG+2: $2 (100 bb)
    Hero (MP1): $2.73 (136.5 bb)
    MP2: $1.17 (58.5 bb)
    MP3: $0.76 (38 bb)
    CO: $2.22 (111 bb)

    Preflop: Hero is MP1 with K K
2 folds, Hero raises to $0.06, 4 folds, SB calls $0.05, BB calls $0.04

    Flop: ($0.18) K 8 9 (3 players)
SB bets $0.09, BB folds, Hero raises to $0.27, SB calls $0.18

    Turn: ($0.72) 7 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $0.35, SB raises to $1.74 and is all-in, Hero folds

Since we have to consider lower sets in the villains's range but his all-in hints to a completed straight it was a tough spot for me.

My question is if it is a call or fold on the turn.

    Thanks,
    Pokernautilus

How could you fold that? Top set? To me its a snap call no question. If he has the straight then you just pay him off. You beat more hands than you lose to and Its the smallest stakes.

No way you can fold here.. he's got all sorts of lower sets, two pairs, and sometimes even hands like "AK/KQ" and some weirdly played aces (I've seen it happen). Even if he's got a straight you still have some outs for a full house on the river.

A much more difficult situation is you are holding AA or AK
