Looks like you played this hand well, river spot is actually close cuts down on his set combo's of 9s, and obviously improves your hand over q10s. If villain could ever have AQ or KQs, not sure we should ever be folding here

Agreed it reduces combos of boats, but there are very few bluffs that don't have a pair which might just take showdown. Do you really think they'd jam AQ/KQ? Given i'm only going to have just over half pot left going into the river, how do you feel about check jamming turn?

Next to never would be very villain dependant, there are some maniacs out there I would probably shove this just because how wide they are and how wide they will stack off. River spot is gross, but it is probably an exploitable fold a decent amount easier if the 9 doesn't pair.

I also think this is well played, you have much better to call with on the river

You should have bet flop, turn, and most likely river, absent a raise. The flop is very coordinated and you need to get value from pair draw combos. Villain can easily have AQ, KQ, QJ, JT. Turn is a blank unless villain has 87. Bet here for value too. River 9 makes a 9 less likely and does not bring a flush. It's probably a bet too.

You have been passive since the flop. Why is he betting so big? What worse hands call a full pot bet here if he has a fh? He'd have to be targeting trip 9s or an over pair, but nothing in the way you played this says over pair or trips. This bet screams bluff to me. I wouldn't be surprised to see JT with a busted straight draw.
