$0.10 NL - Holdem - 9 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

CO: $12.30
BTN: $11.86
SB: $13.87 -> 16/12 (241)
BB: $10.00
Hero (UTG): $13.46
UTG+1: $14.67
MP: $4.00
MP+1: $8.17
MP+2: $10.15

SB posts SB $0.05, BB posts BB $0.10

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.15) Hero has 9 9

Hero raises to $0.30, fold, fold, fold, fold, fold, fold, SB calls $0.25, fold

Flop: ($0.70, 2 players) K 9 3
SB bets $0.42, Hero raises to $1.19

Villain is a tight TAG and plays very solid.
No big reads.
One time he doesn`t CBet a A85r board with K9s. This is my only note

What is the BBcall/donk Range (his first in this 241 hands) of Villain?
Small PP and weak flush draws maybe.
There are just backdoor straight draws.
KQ, KJ he will check/call or?

At first I just want to flat call and raise the Turn.
But this looks much stronger, than a flop raise.
My flop raise include also some draws and Ahigh hands, because his donkbet looks weak. Maybe he know this and rebluff or float oop. But probably to much levelling for NL10.
I only raise 1/2 Pot to give him nice Pot Odds.

If I want to build a huge pot with 130 BB left I need a raise at the flop..
But with which hands he call in this Spot???

I expect this player type to usually donk bet exceptionally strong. I think villains range to donk bet here is like 33, k9, AK hearts, KQ hearts, QT hearts, TJ hearts, Ax hearts.
With your hand I would definitely be looking to raise on the flop and get it all in right there. Villain may get it in with his two pair, bottom set, and combo flush draws. He could call with his A hi flush draws and top pairs.

I dont see a solid player having a donking range. Probably a regfish. Usually, he Will have a flush draw or a weak king. Exceptionnaly, he will have 33 or some weird 2p. They tend to bet those bigger though. I'm raising those moderate sized bets with a very wide range, because it puts the donk bettor in a tough spot. With your hand, just get it in if he 3bets you back.

Hi Chris, why is this noteworthy? Would you always cbet A85r board with K9s? and if so why?

If it's his first in 240 hands, and you are convinced that he is a solid player then it is possible, if he is multi-tabling that this donk was just a mistake - just a thought. I know I've done it.

For me it is noteworthy, because this is a flop, where a lot of players cbet with 100% of his range.
I can´t say, how often I would Cbet this fop (no matter with K9s or other hole cards). Everything dependent of the situation (type of villain, stack size, post flop action and history and so on)
So always Cbet of course not, but there are people they do that and don't think about this things. This villain seems to think about it, so its noteworthy for me.

Flush draw makes sense and this was my main idea.
But a weak king? Which weak Kx hands has a 16/12 player in his OOP OR calling range? Every Kxs??? I cant imagine that. But maybe I think wrong,

Why not? There are a good range of situations where a donk can accomplish your goals in the hand. )

I like the raise, I would just make it bigger.

He's calling a raise on the flop with set of 3's super strong kings, which may fold tbh and combo's and NFD's if he is the way you described him. Two pair is prob not in his range here at all. There just shouldn't be a hand that makes two pair that he could have here

I think solid player will call. Any A-high flush draw donk he might have. 333. + JTh QTh flush + gs combo draws. He may call AK, but generally only if you're raising donks loose / often / there's a reg-battling dynamic between you two.

However I don't really understand that line against EP, specifically. I love sometimes donk bluffing or semi-bluffing people off hands in a couple of spots, but against EP that's plain too ambitious, yet also not good when you have sets because it might stop action and make UTG look suspicious (also may fold out some of UTG range) which might bluffed on this flop. Say, 66, 77, AQ, if utg even has AQ in its range.

Did he have 333 but laid it down due to soulreading you having 999 or KKK and being very solid?
