fold, fold, CO raises to 3 BB, Hero raises to 9 BB, fold, fold, CO calls 6 BB
Range I put V on preflop (QQ-22,AQo-ATo,KQo-KTo,QJo-QTo,JTo,AJs-A9s,KJs-K9s,QJs-Q9s,JTs-J9s,T9s) 15.8% 193 Combos. He was a 64/31 through 42 hands, so a rec player, so I give him a fairly large continue range.
Flop:(19.4 BB, 2 players) J 7 T CO checks, Hero bets 10.68 BB, CO calls 10.68 BB
Range I put V on for Flop Call (QQ-77,AJo-ATo,KQo-KTo,QJo-QTo,JTo,AJs-ATs,KJs-K9s,QJs-Q9s,JTs-J9s,T9s,Ac9c) 72.9% of his previous range, 113 combos
Turn:(40.76 BB, 2 players) 4 CO checks, Hero bets 26.36 BB, CO raises to 52.72 BB, ???
Range I put V after the raise (JJ-TT,77,JTo,JTs) 15.9% of his previous range 18 combos. Vs this range I have 18% equity with the OESD and the pot odds are 18%. Generally with this type of player, a turn raise means two pair or better. Are you folding this, or with the 8 outs to improve to a straight, are you calling this bet?
check turn seeing as v is a weak player, he will not fold many hands ott maybe only 22-66 also you will get raised here sometimes whereas if you check, sometimes they will give you a free card with nutted hands or you just check/call and have better implied odds than here where he has like 20bb behind. AP call seems fine, like you said fish will not have much clubs here and also very important that you will stack 2p+ on all your outs.
Check flop this board favors your opponent more than you.
As played, call turn raise. Also if I’m betting this flop I am definitely barreling this turn. We block KJ/QJ although a Club isn’t a good card for us to have either because we want our opponent to have a flush. Still think betting turn is better but if you wanted to split your range into barreling with KQo no club and checking KQo club that seems like a good start.
