I can't estimate what this small 5Bets means for villains Range.

Is this a try to animate me to 6Bet Shove and he has AK, KK, AA?
Because he already invest 55% of his stack and we both know if I call this 5Bet
it is difficult to give up at the flop with a SPR of 0.5 or so.

Or is this sometime a bluff, because our ranges are wide.

Maybe I easily call the 3Bet. But this I want more with AJs.

Greetings,
Chris

Because the hand is not good enough for this?
Or because the hand is still good enough to call the 3Bet IP?

Still the same with AQ?

AQs/AJs are standard 3bets
the offsuit version of AQo can function as a 3b for value
AJo is too good to turn into a bluff/good enough to call, retains enough of its equity oop vs a wide btn range
now when I said never 3b AJo, I mean never vs an unknown opp, if your opp is a confirmed whale and calls your 3b with any two cards, go ahead and 3b for value

Now you describe Hero sit in the blinds and faces a OR from the BU/CO

But my question was Hero sit at the BU and faces a 3Bet from the blinds and has AJo, AJs, AQs, AQo ?!

sry, my bad, thought we were talking about smth else

it's even more straight forward when you face a 3b on the btn
you can straight up fold AJo/AQo if you happen to know the blind is nitty with 3b in these re-steal spots
otherwise you really should be calling these hands
the hands you want to 4b should be really polarized, i.e. whatever you want to 4b/gii for fat value and hands with blockers, that are not good enough to call, but that punish your opp for 3b too much oop.
I 4b ATo as a standard in these spots for instance because I'm never calling it and it blocks AK/AA/TT. vs very aggressive 3bettors I include A5o and A4o, not the suited versions, since those are good enough to call ip
Don't get too crazy with defending offsuit broadways tho, AJo and KQo are bottom of the range and even these can be folded vs a nit.

Thanks for the detailed answer

I read n article about this 3Bet situations, where the writer said that he flat a lot of well playing stuff like A2s-A5s, ATs, QJ, KJs, KQo/s and 3Bet A6-9s, K7s, Q9s, 64s and so on.

After I think a little bit more about this situation, the 4bet with AJo was really not necessary in this spot. Like you said, just call!

Thx,
Chris

Solvers/Snowie tend to flat the 3-bet (and don't do much 4-betting in general, in BTNvBB, either for value or as a bluff) but I prefer to fold Ajo against players that aren't 3-betting at high/GTO frequencies.
I would sometimes turn ATo into a 4-bet bluff (vs very aggro 3-bettors), and then snap-fold to a 5-bet. AJo should also fold to this 5-bet. Villain has KK+/AKs almost always.
FWIW, I tend to use the small size when 5-betting, and I have no bluffs. If that size leads people to make bad calls or shoves, that's even better.
