Hi guys, this is Nl 5 stars, eff bb 100 , hero is in Co with 6h-3h. Villain is a loose agg player ho opens a lot from any position especialy LP. Vs Villain hero play a pot where hero try to bluff with a check raise OTT on a favoable hero board, but villain RR hero OTT.
Villain opens 3x from the HJ hero calls BTn calls.
Flop Jh-8h-2d, 3 pl,pot (0.52$) villain bets 0.40$, hero calls, BTN fold.
Turn 3s pot(1.32$) villain bet 1$ hero???
What line is good for hero in this spot? Should we go all in OTT, check raise or just call with the intention of folding if we do not improve to a flush, 2 pair or trips. Dont like the check raise because i make that play and didn't work.
How can we beat this player?

No we should almost never raise here. You’ve described an overly aggro Villain here. We don’t want to play them at there own game.

We have 14 perceived outs to a reasonable winning hand. I’d average it down a bit for the times V has a fd, set, two pair or a h in their hand. 13 seems ok. We’re getting plenty of implied odds to hit an out. I think winning close to another 80c on the river should we hit makes the call break even. The pot will be $3.32 so that should be very do able vs an aggro. Just call.

On none improving cards we probably dump our very low pair to a decent bet.

I wouldn’t call with this hand pre in this position. Probably from any position vs an over aggro player. We need to play back with stronger ranges than theirs. And no matter how bad 63s isn’t in there.

In this instance your exploiting. Understanding what’s exploitable is good but we don’t need to worry about balance vs an overly aggro. Player. We want to play exploitatively.

For instance if we play a villain who folds 95% of the time when they check the flop do we want to worry about betting all of our low equity hands or just happily bet knowing we’re printing ev?

Or one that shoves all rivers do you ever want to balance your betting range with some bluff hands?
