First time I've seen such a small re-re-raise. Wasn't sure what to do. I thought he was protecting his Q top pair, so I tried to represent a flush draw. Was it a correct play?

The raise on the flop is bad. You are oop and have almost no equity on this wet board. He is fairly tight, so his range includes a lot of better hands. And those will call in position and put you in bad spots. Not saying a raise is always bad, but Q85r would be a much better flop to check/raise.

On the river, I think you outsmart yourself too much. There is no need to pull off big bluffs. You get plenty of money when you do have the flush. No need to chase every pot. This is NL2. You don´t have to win every pot.

Just check/fold and move on to the next hand.

Thanks. I understand my mistake on the flop, but if we forget this is NL2 (I want to get better), why do you think the river bluff was bad?

What hands will he fold on the river that he bet and raise so small on the flop. You also have to go with your experience. Will the overall NL2 player (or even small stakes player) fold QQ or TT here?

I havent´t played NL2 for a while and this might work on some players. But I am pretty sure that you burn money when you try to represent a hand in a pot where villain already showed some kind of strength.

If you wanna represent the flush, bet the turn.

Why? Wouldn't Villain c-bet a high % of times on this flop? His range is still the same after he bet, right? He could have anything, maybe AK, AQ, etc.

look at his pfr, you have 250 hands on him

what would he a) open and b) cbet ip that you feel comfortable calling against?

hands like AK and AJ do very well vs your 99, pairs under TT don't bet flop usually, anything else is a better made hand or a good draw

you've got a weak hand, you're oop, no re-draws, time to fold
