Middle Suited Connectors Question

I'll be honest, I am not 100% comfortable when it comes to small/middle suited connectors vs an opener.
For example, in $.02/$.05 NLH I was dealt 7
6 in middle position.
UTG+1 min raises, UTG +2 folds and I fold, but should I call here? These spots trip me up more than I feel they should, and I typically nit it up.
