What Is This?:

To help motivate grinders and also for a bit of fun here is a volume prop (number of hands played in a month) for you all.

You select a maximum of 2 pools to join and pay the escrow before the dealine date.

You then grind your ass off and try to hit the target volume(s) you set for yourself. If you pass your cash gets shipped back. If you fail then you lose your money and it get divided up between all those who passed in the relevant pool - simplez


Rules and Points to Note:

1) Must show HEM/PokerTracker screen shot to verify x number of hands played in the month of play, filter for example this month is 'October 2012'. Please do not use 'This Month'. Make sure your screen name is visible in shot.
2) Can show multiple screen shots if using multiple computers.
3) Full Ring, 6-max, HU as well as ZOOM / Rush Poker etc is all fine.
4) No minimum stakes so even NL2 is fine
5) No win rate or profit necessary
6) Can only join a max of two pools.
7) Everyone must escrow prior to the deadline date. Sadly due to previous non payers this is now a necessity.
8) I (x_ROSH125_x on Pokerstars) will act as the escrow unless people object. I have successfully run props before:

So basically, if I reach the amount of hands I'm freerolling? And win the amount of money thats in the pot of the people who didnt make it devided over the amount of people who did make it?

I played a few of these in 2010 and they were always great fun towards the end of the month as everyone scrambled to make hands.

There were a few fails pretty much every month too

Okay cool. I'm 99% sure I'm going for 150 and 200k but I'll wait just a day or two to see how much people this attracts, I'm definitely in though. Just hope there will be enough players who go for 150/200k.

do you plan to do this monthly?

Yes - We used to run them every month in 2010 but it was all done on trust and then somebody failed and didn't pay up and then they stopped.

They only way to run them now is if everyone escrows regardless of their reputation on 2+2

Mixing stakes is fine.

If you went into the 50k pool for example and played 28,000 hands at NL2 + 25,000 hands at NL5 your total of 53,000 hands would qualify and you would PASS your target pool

ill try out the 75khand pool im in if we reach 7 players. count me automatically as the 7th. is that ok?

I think I might downgrade to 50k and 75k, but will confirm either way asap.

One question I had – you said in the OP that you’d need to see a graph with screenname included to verify the results. My screenname is different to my 2p2 name, and I am a little reluctant to reveal my Stars SN given that I have a PG&C thread and talk a lot in there about my own thought processes/ranges etc.

Any way around that?
