Re: M2TR shortstacker illuminati thread
Much as I hate shortstacking, it won't kill poker in the long term. It could damage it quite severely if the WOW gold farmers get their act together and switch to poker, but ultimately all the sites have to do to counter it is raise the min buy-in.
My fingers are crossed that's what eventually happens!

Never in a million years. Shortstacking is profitable for the sites.

Re: M2TR shortstacker illuminati thread
It's not driving players away *yet*.
Do you think the same would be true if it ever reached the point there were 6 or 7 shortstackers on every table? Personally, I'd stop playing for sure.
I don't see any evidence the economy is having an impact. Numbers appear as high as ever.

I wish it was random
it appears as though there are many learning how to shortstack
at least, my PM inbox has had quite an uptick the last month or two

In reply to the bold, I would hope that you would adapt, since that's what poker players are supposed to do.

Re: M2TR shortstacker illuminati thread
50bbmin and deep tables at FTP are awesome, just so I can go look at the regular tables with like 6 shortstackers all trying to crush each other.

limp if someone bets/raises then fold unless you have aces
you'll win almost everytime you get all in
i tried this the other day and won 16 out of 20 all ins, it was crazy

I am not sure this is optimum strategy but I am glad that it worked out well for you. You must have played a long time to get AA 20 times in one session.
