What is a acceptable bb/100 loss rate in the blinds at 6 max these days ?

I've always considered my play in the blinds to be pretty poor. Last year I was -12.87 in the SB and -40.98 in the BB. BB definitely needs some work.

Well i have some work to do then.

Ive decided to stop playing Zoom and will DEFINITELY not play full ring again and will only 6 table the normal 6 max tables from here on in.

Time to slow it down a touch and become a better 6 max player .... have loads of leaks im sure .... the blinds being just one of them.

I'm not finding the hem filter to see donk flop success or whatever it would be called & pots where i don't raise preflop don't count towards the normal cbet success stat. I get 45% cbet success when i iso-raise the fish, would it not be rational to assume it's the same success rate even in the event i don't raise pre?
Anybody can answer?

I tend to bet a lot against them but I haven't looked into my results when doing so.

yes I do bet dry flops 50% in that scenario

about BB losses. I think anything below 40bb/100 is good.
Anything below 30bb/100 is very very good ( or just sample size issue normally for most )

With absolute trash, just checking and trying to get a pair and maybe beat the fish is usually better no matter how dry the board is, also with A high I prefer just checking it down.

it's a +EV spot, fish is giving you free equity, just take it. The worst you can do is to start spazzing out and giving action vs stronger hands that won't fold, fish has a ton of nutted hands in their limping range.

I agree with Rapidesh. Always analyze how your range plays on each board. Know which hands you are semi bluffing / value betting. I say semi bluffing because we dont want to be betting with no equity oop.

Anyone know how long you can be inactive for before your chest colour gets downgraded? The description on the site is confusing.

They say if you open your last 3 chests on different days then you will be downgraded, but I think if you open 2 on Monday, none on Tuesday then the third on Wednesday you will also be downgraded.

25nlz 6 max has been a bit of a roller coaster so far. With multiple $1000 swings. A few tilty days certainly haven't helped. Appreciating the meager rakeback I'm getting.

Hi all,

I know I didn’t join in at the beginning. I had to give up the game for a few months just as I was getting to the stage of posting here.

When I first started back on the 24th my goals were simple, dip into my previous studies but play a decent amount to get myself back into the swing. Then organise myself to the point so that I can study/improve/play.

I’m pleased with the volume so far and happy I have a plan.

Thanks

Rough month

Turns out my bankroll isn't big enough for me to endure the pain of getting stacked at 50nl. Also ran like ass at 6max in particular:

Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

CO: $3.85 (VPIP: 35.94, PFR: 25.98, 3Bet Preflop: 15.38, Hands: 133)

SB posts SB $0.08, BB posts BB $0.16

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.24) Hero has A K

UTG calls $0.16, MP raises to $0.48, fold, Hero raises to $1.45, fold, fold, UTG calls $1.29, MP calls $0.97

Flop: ($4.59, 3 players) 9 4 K
UTG bets $0.64, MP calls $0.64, Hero raises to $3.70, UTG calls $3.06, fold

Turn: ($12.63, 2 players) J
UTG bets $0.16, Hero raises to $13.93 and is all-in, UTG calls $7.01 and is all-in

River: ($26.97, 2 players) Q

UTG wins $25.76

If you lose a single stack at a level and need to worry bankroll then you probably need to drop down 3 levels before you are in the correct comfort zone. 30-100 stacks depending on who you are is decent

Yeah you're totally correct there. I had less than 25 buy-ins for 50nl so I was asking for it really. I took some shots at it last month when I was on a heater which went well over a short sample but I guess I knew in my heart that I didn't have the bankroll for it. I'll give it another bash when I get 30 buy-ins.

I don't normally think of the $ value of pots (in real world terms) but you can't help but notice it when you play a higher limit (especially if it's double the last one you played). It's pretty awesome winning $100 pots I must say. Not so much when you're losing them though.
