Hey guys, I'm back again with my third video!
There was a request for a Stars video, so I decided to jump in the waters and 5-table for an hour at 50nl. I had no reads or stats, as I've never played in these games, but I gave it my best shot.

Played 18/16 this session, 46 ASB.

Two apologies -

1) Sorry for the file size (300mb) , this one turned out twice as large as my previous videos, so the download will take a while.

2) I'm a bit stuffed up and sniffly in the video, allergy season is in full swing here in Florida and is taking a toll on my sinuses.

Just finished watching the video, and it was pretty solid overall. The only spot where I was like wtf?, was at about 23:00. There were 3 limpers, all from ep, and all had less than 60bb's iirc, and you made a big raise with 34s OTB. Since they were all from ep, I don't think you can expect them all to fold that often, and if one of them does call, I would assume that you want some decent high-card value because of a low SPR on the flop, which you don't have with 34s. It just seemed like an ill advised move when I watched it.

Also, I'm not sure if you're aware, but if you want to make a note on stars, just double click on the players avatar. Right clicking and then selecting 'notes' from the drop down menu is just so tedious.

At around 24:20 you get 22 from EP. You raise it and get 3bet by someone in MP.

You say "Well, there's no reason to think he's 3betting light, so I just have to fold here." While I do think that you need to fold (because you're out of position), isn't it a good thing that he doesn't 3bet light? If it's really probable that he has a hand like a high pocket pair, I would think you should be more inclined to call (to setmine) than if he were 3betting light.

I'm probably wrong though. Please correct me. :-)

Generally I don't like to set mine OOP, I don't think I can make it a profitable play against his projected range. If he were a lite 3 bettor, I could consider making a preflop or flop move on him to try and win the pot, although it would be very rare, usually I just have to fold in such a spot.

I really like these videos, JE. What I like best is that you explain the "why" and your thought process behind every hand. I like that you're looking for spots, not just hands.

I think this is a pretty standard play, that table and others were playing very loose passive. Baltimore Ron was the first limper, he seemed to be playing about a 50/5 sort of game, def a chronic limper who had limp folded several times. I think the other guys were just short stacked donks coming along for the 'cheap' ride. I think my Iso raise takes it down, or leaves 1 caller enough for it to be profitable.

what's it mean when it says that you have codec problem and it just puts a red X next to it on the right and wont play. I can watch CR vids and others but none that people have posted here, such as this one and bottomset's

Amazing videos man. You really helped me out a lot. Before watching your videos, I had no idea how to play aggressively. I thought I was aggressive, but really I was just weak tight. Now I'm betting almost every hand that I'm playing pfr and cbetting more than half the time. It's working really well so far.
