This might be a stupid idea (i have not tried it myself). I dont post at all so if this is in the wrong place, my bad.

The Idea-
Ok so i am calling this the HAR method (hit and run) lol. It is a down and "dirty" way to help people who are having a hard time trying to first get the bankroll going.

Step 1-
Buy in for the minimum at $1/2 nl if you can afford to start out at those stakes. Play until you win a profit equal to what you sat down with + the blinds. For example: sit down with $60 and get up with $63. If this only takes you one hand then that is great. Your goal should be to get in and get out, HAR (hit and run) for one blind $3 at $1/2, $6 at $2/4, $9 at $3/6, etc. It shouldn't take you more than 1 hour a day to do this. Win or lose.

Step 2-
As soon as you are up by over a blind GET OUT. Stop playing poker until tomorrow and then do it again. If you lose your min buy in then DO NOT chase your losses turn the computer off and try again tomorrow.

Step 3-
With some success you hopefully have a profit of atleast $90 after doing this for 30 days. $3 × 30 = $90 month. Use the HAR method for 2 or 3 months then when you got some steam going go up a limit to $2/4 or $3/6 nl. At $3/6 nl $9 × 30 = $270 month. The goal for step 3 is to eventually make it to $10/20 nl $30 × 30 = $900 month.

Let me know what you think about this method. Is it stupid? Would it work? Any ideas for improvement?

Okay, so how is this worse than 50%? You haven't given anything specific. You are saying it is "just because". I find the logic behind my theory is solid. If you stop playing while you are ahead then you win. Its simple. It may take awhile to make anything of significance doing this but that is why it is called grinding. If you cant win more than 50% of your sessions so say at least 16 days out of 30 that you cant win one hand worth of profit you are probably a break even or losing player.

Seriously OP. You're going to get eaten alive if you try this. I'm sure the regs at those limits are well used to unknown short stackers showing up and trying to steal their blinds. In fact I'm sure they welcome it. You don't have half as much fold equity as you think you do in this scenario.

If you still think it's feasible then I suggest you go and implement it.
