did i miss an opportunity checking behind on the turn? I felt like i was going to get all his QQ and mid pair combos to fold, and he doesn't have a king because he prob isn't 3 betting with any king hands becides QK and AK and those bet flop. This just looks like he almost always has TT JJ QQ or KK with a discounted KQ. now im starting to not even like my line of shoving river, could i just check/call river? is this line way too weak? or maybe just continue on turn?

I think your line is a bit off. So you won 108 BBs, 71 in the pot and 37 the SB bet on the river. The question is could you improve on this if he has a strong hand other than KK. Based on his stats he seems to be a TAG player, although it's only 65 hands of data.

I think smaller bets might have done the trick. Your set of 9s is very strong here and can take some action. Instead of betting 2/3 of the pot on the flop, maybe a 1/2, 15 BBs, bet would be better. This make the pot 61 if he calls. You could bet 25 BBs on the turn giving the SB better than 3 to 1 to call. This would make the pot 101 BBs. Then on the river there's a good chance you can get a small value bet paid off.

Your 9s are strong. You only need to worry about KK or a flush draw which I doubt he has or he would have bet the flop. You can afford to give him good pot odds.

You're deep with SB and it's 2NL. A flop like K79 with 2 spades is super wet. Think about the range of hands he's calling bets with. Tonnes of straight draws, spade draws, top pairs. The turn is quite beautiful for you as it's completely irrelevant and most hands he will call flop will call turn too. You need to be charging those draws and getting value for your hand too so you MUST bet the turn here.

Your line is actually a shocker as it looks like QJ or a set and he is hardly ever going to call your shove with worse.

Bet turn all day long.
