Facing strange plays - 2 NL

Hey Folks. WhiskeyJack back here. Finally worked some on my play and i am beating 2NL(Something i was not doing since i used to spew pocket money around, now i started taking things seriously and i'm trying to move up from the bottom!)
Now, onto the question. I'm faced with a very tough spot and had no idea what to do.

Decided to check-call here. 2nd Ace means Villian is less likely to have one and we can eliminate QQ+; AK from his range since he didn't 4bet PF.
River: ($2.36) A (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN checks
Ka-Boom! We Fill up and i decide to check-shove on the villian since he was the aggressor on the river.
