Does anyone know of Full Ring Forums that are active on any site? Strat, hand analysis etc.

I'm just finishing my 1st 100 hours at 200NL so mainly 100NL+ but if you know of anything out there please let me know.

Hey, what's up, humanlab? Frustrated by the lack of content on this forum? I feel you. I like FR the best also. I do get a lot from the micro small stakes forum, which is very active. I don't think the games are that different. There is a little more patience involved in FR and you need to be much tighter in the first few seats in FR, and much tighter against action coming from the first few seats in FR, but once you get to the Lojack and Hijack seats, the game is almost identical - and more importantly, the strategy principles should remain the same. There are some really excellent players who post constantly on M-ss and they are all into pio-solvers and GTO and HUDs, yada yada yada. They would comment on your hand histories and offer strategy insights even though you are FR. It shouldn't be a big deal.

There is also the 'coaching and training'/'coaching advice' forum you could check out.

It sounds like maybe you want to start a FR study group. If you look at the Micro-ss forum, and also the HUNL forum and also the coaching and training/coaching advice forum, there are sticky's which have merged all of the "request to start a study group" posts. Some of the threads are quite lengthy with thousands of posts. I've never read through them all but I think you can get the idea pretty quickly by just perusing the first page or two.

I am always glad to bounce ideas around, although I am no coach and I am just another fellow traveler on my own poker journey.

Hey Magnum. Cheers for the advice. Not frustrated just looking for something more active. I don't think I want to put in too much effort like starting a study group just happy to lurk and contribute

I'll check out the other micro stakes forum. I know what you mean by their similarities. But I kind of like the differences too. Especially when it's comparing FR to zone. I used to play zone and it's very aggressive and theoretical spots vs population. Whereas I also like getting into it a bit more - specific player types that have been shown to be doing X and X over the last hour etc.

I wasn't sure if there was a different community like the redchip forum, or cardchat or pokerstrategy etc that had an active FR that I didn't know about. I like reading about different players thoughts on different hands to make me think and to not get too stuck in my own ways.

I'll be moving near a casino in about 5 weeks so I'll probably be putting more hours into that and there is an active low stakes forum I should be reading too to. Get a feel for the new format.
