I'm expecting him to be doing this with a really wide range so I call expecting to be ahed if I hit on the flop.

SB bets $0.56,
Hero calls $0.56
I pick up the open ended straight draw on the flop and given how deep we were I peeled off a card, although I still would have if we were 100bb deep.

SB bets $1.28,

SB calls $1.92
In hindsight here I should have raised bigger, if he was calling a small raise he was calling a bigger raise. I presume my thinking was I wanted to get as much value as possible and in a blind vs blind situation I put him on a weaker hand that couldn't stand a big raise so I went for a smaller one to get the most from him.

This is a big overbet to the pot and looks to me like he is panicking. Often an overbet on the river is strength but then they will have usually been checking and rivered the nuts, whereas here he led 2 streets then c/r'd the river for over pot. I think he has sets and even some 2 pair hands in his range as well as some flushes. What is your play here?
