Villain is playing 23/19 with a 47% att to steal over 72 hands.

PokerStars - $0.16 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 4 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 3

SB: $55.67
Hero (BB): $27.30
UTG: $6.40
BTN: $18.60

SB posts SB $0.08, Hero posts BB $0.16

Pre Flop: ($0.24) Hero has K T

fold, fold, SB raises to $0.48, Hero calls $0.32

I'm expecting him to be doing this with a really wide range so I call expecting to be ahed if I hit on the flop.

Flop: ($0.96, 2 players) Q 6 J
SB bets $0.56, Hero calls $0.56

I pick up the open ended straight draw on the flop and given how deep we were I peeled off a card, although I still would have if we were 100bb deep.

Turn: ($2.08, 2 players) 9
SB bets $1.28, Hero raises to $3.20, SB calls $1.92

In hindsight here I should have raised bigger, if he was calling a small raise he was calling a bigger raise. I presume my thinking was I wanted to get as much value as possible and in a blind vs blind situation I put him on a weaker hand that couldn't stand a big raise so I went for a smaller one to get the most from him.

River: ($8.48, 2 players) 7
SB checks, Hero bets $6.00, SB raises to $51.43 and is all-in, Hero is unhappy

This is a big overbet to the pot and looks to me like he is panicking. Often an overbet on the river is strength but then they will have usually been checking and rivered the nuts, whereas here he led 2 streets then c/r'd the river for over pot. I think he has sets and even some 2 pair hands in his range as well as some flushes. What is your play here?

Hands he wants to stack off for value 3bet turn, instead of calling turn to c/r river on a bad card for them.

His river range for doing this crushes yours.

I'm folding. He has a lot of fd combos seeing how the Q and J are both clubs and I don't expect him to bluffshove in this spot or turn made hands into bluffs. All his straights and sets would also probably 3bet the turn.

raise more on the turn and turbomuck to the river checkshove. this is a flush 99% imo

I agree with all of the above, thanks for the input, although flatting KTo pre seems ok to me?

I think villain overbets river like this b/c your turn raise reps a hand you're going to have a hard time laying down.

Fold.
