Want to balance my c-betting range on flop so I x/c. Turn I can use this card as a scare card for a lot of my range. But I figure I will get action from any underpairs 8x type hands. V then jams?

I need around 30% equity on a call against 2p+. I am getting 45% pot odds here. Feel like the jam is a fold. Could I ever be ahead?

V is 19/13 [h:193] 3b:3.2

I don't like leading the turn with this hand, it just works so well as a check-call. We can comfortably call a normal-sized bet, we can win at showdown when our draw bricks, and if the turn goes check-check we can value bet the river.

The villain can have a lot of draws on this board, but I imagine a lot of them can just call turn for this size and play the river in position. By contrast, two pairs and sets are hands that actually want to get the money in now.

Fold. Seems like a nit and jams on a card what should improve you range. I'm in the c/c turn camp also .

These HH's hurt to read, you want to balance your c betting range at 5NL??????? BET THE FLOP. YOU HAVE THE NUT FLUSH DRAW. FE IS THE NAME OF THE GAME.

And make a real raise pre. Against anyone who's not a complete drooler you will get almost 0 folds with a min raise + one cent.

1. 3x pre.

2. Bet this flop between 50%pot and 75%pot, literally 100% of the time as PFR. That's how you balance your cbet here lol. Unless you know the guy is a whale station this board is 100% cbet @5nl.

I agree we should be raising more preflop, but 3x is too much. 1/2 pot (2.5 BB, or 0.13) is a better number.

The only reason not to bet this flop with this hand (nut flush draw, backdoor straight draw, nut no-pair) is if the villain literally never folds to a flop c-bet. We've got enough equity that we profit by betting into even the nittiest of villains.

As played, I think we have to fold to the turn jam. We need 44.5% equity to call, and I think we come up short.

Probably cbetting this flop, although I'm not totally against check call flop.

Check call turn is better than lead, as played fold to the shove.

Most of this is just no. I don't know what or where you play but you need to be balanced on ACR even at 5NL. You usually have 4 or 5 regs at every table and even though 2/3's are regfish playing unbalanced outside of specific reads is just lighting money on fire. This isn't the 5 NL of some crappy site like Ignition or most sites around 2010.

I do agree anything but 3x opens from the sb are horrible though.

bet flop, as played check-call turn. Leading accomplishes nothing, just cuts his range down to his nutted hands. If you want to balance your flop checking range then put some overpairs with a heart in there. Not this hand though.

If I take the bet flop line and the heart comes in how big are you sizing the turn? 3/4 ? Feel like this turns my hand face up and Im never getting action from worse.

Lol if u drill the turn you think top pair, sets , worse flushes etc are going to fold?
If so you should probably be turning every Ah into a bluff then

I feel like it's very rare when I get paid off with the turned flush when the 3rd flush card comes in. Maybe selective bias though
