Well, as I mentioned sometime ago, I'd start translating the COTW's into spanish.

Turns out out that online translators are extremely effectively (duh) and not enough words/phrases are lost in translation to merit manually translating everything.

has anyone ever done a COTW or a strategy post detailing how to respond to a polarized 3betting range in and out of position? do you 4bet merged/polarized or not at all (flat instead)?

A COTW on range merging would be great.Yes, it is very advanced topic but even if it gives us a basic idea of what it is, it would be very helpful becoz nowadays i see of people using this term often on the forums and i have no idea what they are talking about and whether they are using it correctly.

range merging at the micros threads, means that some reg is trying to say someones bet/raise/shove after some action is poor/weird/bad/strange/odd without saying it is poor/weird/bad/strange/odd so we say "that could be some sick range merging if you have the right reg dynamic".

Now a COTW on triple range merging would be something useful.

for anyone who is curious, i deleted my COTW on margin of error. i think it was written poorly, and wasn't a good add to the COTW series. i will try again later...

I've been interested for a while in seeing a discussion on checking (and not folding) as the PFR.

That's a luxury that we as ordinary posters do not have. I think it is a pity you retracted it, since even a poorly written article can be the basis of a fruitful discussions on concepts and misconceptions. If you felt it was not up to the standard you could have simply downgraded it to a normal post, i.e., take it off the list of COTW's.

Just my two bits.

whatever you wanna call it. a strategy that involves a non transparent checking range. or perhaps we can expand and include lines that are bet flop, check turn, that aren't check fold turn.

just seems to me that most of the advice here is either "bet and do something later" or "check and always fold". why can't I "check and do something later" with hands that aren't sets?

b/c those lines are what we coaches charge for.

I always wanted to read a COTW on flatting the button and flatting from SB. I think this is something that very few players use.
