Calling 3B with PP

He hold 77 and raise to 3bb on MP, a 14 / 11 / 1.1 player raises to 9bb (120bb effective stacks*), we call (implied odds) and the flop comes J73r, we check/raise, MP reraises shove and we call and stack his KK...
What factors do we need to take into consideration to make this set mining line +EV? I know that this depends on our villian and his capability to GII with his overpairs and other stuff, stacks sizes are important as well...
Do we always x/f if we dont hit the set? if so, this doesnt make our whole set mining line negative EV or it does?
