I took shots at NL16/NL25 5-6 times over the last six years or so, but I always get chewed up and my bankroll demolished. I build my bankroll beating NL10 Zoom full ring. Rebuild, demolish at NL16/25, repeat.

My latest DB is 150K NL10Z hands. My winrate is 3.8bb/100 before bonus. I am up an additional +8.5 stacks in All-In EV (Sklansky bucks, yeah!). This time around I've managed to hold on to a $650 bankroll at NL16/25, but I am only breaking even (before bonus) for a couple of months now.

My play style. Over those 150K NL10 Zoom hands, my VPIP/PFR/3B is 18/13/5 overall, widening to 26/16/5 in late position. My calling range includes set mines OOP and suited connectors IP. Preflop I steal and resteal a lot. Postflop, I CB Flop and Turn with draws and scare cards, I raise with my best draws, and just generally try not to let the pot get bigger than my hand/draw strength.

I know already the randomizing of players and positions in Zoom forces me to play a more disciplined game. I don't get into the wrong headspace, judging the play by how Villain played two hands ago. In Zoom, I just play my HUD and watch for weird lines.

I feel like at NL16/25, guys are reading my range vis-à-vis the board better than I do them. On later streets, they are stealing pots and extracting value from me because they see more. That's my hunch.

Any suggestions? Any one else had similar experience? Thanks.

Exactly, this is why I'm losing.

However +3.8bb & paying 6bb/100 to rake is quite not a great deal.

I'd love to chat with you and get to know your secrets on beating NL10 FR zoom. I basically won a load of money in high stakes spins early this year but managed to lose it all back and then tried to rebuild my roll on NL10 FR zoom for starters but I've failed to beat it and now I'm about to quit poker and go back to programming.
