Fold to Turn Bet with Ace High Flush Draw? Fold to Turn Bet with Ace High Flush Draw?

First I want to apologize if this question seems stupid. I'm just re-learning poker again and trying to see if this Turn call after the bet was correct. Pretty sure I'm not getting Pot Odds to call here for Ace High Flush Draw on the River right? I'm not counting any Ace on the River as he can have two pair, but I guess maybe the Ace on River would have show-down value?

So I'm thinking I have 9 outs for the flush (doing the 4 and 2 rule that's about 18% to hit flush). Calling his bet on the Turn is 2 to 1 Pot Odds right? Meaning to call I'd have to hit 50% of the time...ugh am I doing this right lol. Anyway, I called which I think I shouldn't have and then folded on the River when missed.

To clarify a little more villain bet $0.70 on the turn making the Pot $1.43.

Thanks in advance for any advice and help!

1:1 is 50%
2:1 and you need 33%
3:1 = 25%
4:1 = 20%

$.70/$2.10 pot otr($.70 in pot + $.70 bet you're facing + $.70 your call)
$.70/$2.10=33.3%

In this hand, you have a gutshot along with your flushdraw so you actually have 12 outs. Going by 4x2 rule, that's 24% equity that you have. However, you have money behind and if he's always going to give you his stack when you hit, the math is more like:

$.70/$3.19 which means you need 21.9% to make this a call and you have 24%. However, because of rake, this is likely a losing call. Add to this that he's not always giving you a stack on a Q river and it makes it more of a losing call.

The 4x2 rule is just a simple rule and the more outs you actually have, the worse off you are using it. Here your actual % to hit is 26%.

Wow, Isolated thank you so much, that was informational. *facepalm* I totally misread the Pot Odds, forgot 2:1 means hitting once out of three times. I also missed my Queen outs lol I try not to go for gutshots but obviously failed to add them to my outs here. I was figuring with suited Ace on the Cut-Off and my stack I could call and see a flop but...FOLD PRE! Got it, thank you!
