Am I a fish on a heater? Am I a fish on a heater?

TLDR: Casual/rec mtt'er here who has never played one single hand of 9 handed cash in 10 years online, until 2 weeks ago. Decided to start at the bottom and see what happened. TBH it has been unreal. I'm seeing things happen routinely that i saw players do in 2008. I realize that my 25/100bb is not going to stay there, but can some of you micro cash game grinders tell me if 15/100bb is attainable? And what can a winning 10nl player expect at 25nl? Hopefully 8/100bb ? What can this cash game noob expect? Gracias

Just re-read my post and tbh it sounds a little like im coming off bragging about winning. I'm not--just didnt word it correctly. Actually i'm an avg player at best. I found a great article from a longterm micro winning grinder who gives his advice on winrates at different levels. I found it very helpful. You might find it informative as well .

Hi! I'm glad you're performing well and having more luck on Pokerstars (?) than most regs at the limit!

I did a database analysis on NL5 ZOOM Full Ring last year and people I considered good regs were making only 3bb/100 on average, while people I considered worse, more ABC regs, were making 2bb/100 average over a sample of 400k hands, but it could been because I was a 6bb/100 reg at the time and maybe getting a small edge on them so maybe lowering their winrate by a little

Big longterm winrates are achievable if you're a complete psycho /slash/ crusher, but for a typical winning player, they're less than you'd expect in today's ZOOM

No, i play on WPN. I never played zoom, but it looks like it would be fun/fast. I know my 7k hands is a very small sample and theres no way i can continue a 27/100bb pace. I'd be happy with 7 to 10 though. We will see.

Nah, it's tougher. Reason why (regs) play zoom is generally because of being able to put in more volume and less hassle with managing tables and / or occasionally timing out.

Cool! You typically want to stay on WPN, possibly move up and grind up a roll there. If the site is soft, it's good. I haven't played on WPN tho', so I can't say 1st hand.
