I think folding it here is wrong.I was feeling fold is good here because i don't block possible nut flush here, and another diamond would just be an instant lose. How I should play this on the future streets, and what cards should i be afraid of?

Forget about blockers at 2NL, they don't matter against bad opponents.
Well, they do matter, but you have much much more important stuff to be focusing on first!

    This is an easy call.
Probably calling half pot on the turn again.
Folding river to a half pot or larger bet.
    Depending on the runout.

Hey Yeodan, could you do me a favor and run through your thoughts on bet sizing both pre and post flop.

I generally raise and 3 bet pot size, and cbet 1/2 pot when heads up and cbet about 40% if multiway. This isn't too far off from a 4bb raise, it's 3.5bb.

My friend plays a lot of live poker (pre-corona) and he was commenting to me on the differences between live and online and he said almost everyone in his live game just min-raises.

My thoughts are that a min-raise isn't going to thin the field very much, which is one of my goals of course, as well as getting more money in the pot when I am likely best.

I generally understand SPR and the idea that small hand = small pot, etc. Can you elaborate on your thoughts on this. I think I may be missing something that could improve my game. Thanks.

live players often open to 5-10bb because if you don't then you get 5 callers way too often

online players play tighter preflop ranges most of the time, so there's no need to open larger

I just know that everyone is recommending 2-3bb opens and I almost never see anyone opening 4bb anymore
Not entirely sure what the reasoning is

I think the higher your open amount, the less hands you can play
So 4bb might just be too high and you would end up playing too few hands (from a GTO perspective)
    Not sure about this though.

Standard 3bet size is 3x the open IP and 4x open OOP
If someone opens for 2bb you can and probably should go a bit higher
if someone opens for 4bb you should probably go a bit lower
Throw in a few extra bb for each limper/caller

In live games where people refuse to fold to 3bets you can take huge advantage of this by just going 4-5x or even larger if they still don't fold.

I sometimes do this in tournaments in the first levels.
Blinds are 50/100 stacks are 50k, someone opens to 300, gets 4 callers, if I have a strong enough hand I often raise to around 3500, because I know they're just all gonna call if I don't (and I still get 1-2 callers often)
    I do tighten my range, don't 3bet light into 5 people :P

Flop cbet sizing should be adjusted to board texture.
Cbet often and small on very dry boards with 1 high card (25-35% pot)
Cbet very carefull (around 20%) on wet/middle boards and size up (66% pot)

cbet more often against people who fold too often (bluff more)
cbet less often against people who call too often (bluff less, or if they really call too often stop bluffing entirely)

    This is very basic though.
Join a training site, they explain it much better and way more in depth than I ever could.

I think this is played fine, I'd rather fold TPTK on the flop to a worse hand sometimes than call off several streets with no idea of where we are in the hand a a lot of bad cards which can come. If you've been accidentally bluffed by KQ then so be it

I make it 40+cents after the caller of the initial raise + BBs raise.

As played the pot is too small to get involved with TPTK no redraw on a monotone flop.
