I have most chips on the table - around 450€. There is a straddle to 2€ and we make it 7€, 2 callers behind before BTN raises to 30€ and I 4bet to around 85€

2 folds and back to button which calls. Flop is KQJ rainbow, and I check.

4 betting is not usual on this table, alot of flatting pre, and some 3bets here and then.

Villain just sat down 1 hour ago and is a conservative palyer and I would assume his range here is KK,QQ,JJ,AK and maybe some AQs and TT.

He checks back, and turn is K - I check and he bets around half pot, so 70€ into 190€ ish.

River is blank low card, and I check and he jams for his remaining 280€

I guess it`s a fold unless villain turns JJ/AQs or something into a bluff?

Any toughts on the hand and if we could have done thing differentely?

I’d think it unlikely given that 4B aren’t uncommon that KK doesn’t gii pre here. I did go through the action on flopzilla and weighted kings to 25% pre.

It’s a coin flip on the flop. Given the low spr (below 2?) I’d CB, I think V is getting it in with their entire range here and we’re 50:50 at this point.

Once the K drops on the turn there’s nothing we beat. And calling to hit an Ace will never be profitable. If we average out our outs to 4 2A and 2T then calling just to hit means we need to make an extra €547 to break even long term.

We’re getting roughly 2.2:1 on the river. Even adding in AQs, AJs and TT as odd bluffs we don’t get the odds. Good fold.
