You have to win 25% of the time to call. I think you're likely beat most of the time by a bigger pair but you might be facing Ax enough of the time to make the call profitable. It's probably close but I'm calling unless I know more about villlian.

Am I reading that right, VPIP is 3%? If so, fold the turn all day long.

3/3 in 100 hands? I fold the flop without much thought, we're setmining.

I'm not even sold that you should be playing this hand preflop. Only things that make it tempting is the limper and the high likelihood that he will have something to pay us if we hit an 8.

Fold flop. I'm not playing bluffcatchers against villains like this.

I don't think set mining can be profitable with this type of player. But let's say it's not a big mistake to call here as you have position, but you noticed the 3Vpip guy is triple barelling and you have only a pair, I would call the flop half the time and fold 100% of the time on the turn

I'd be tempted to raise turn and jam river because his read to call would have to be {88,99,78s, sets} and maybe he discounts the 88/99. 3% vpip guy may make a diciplined fold lol.

In which case you might as well make this play with ATC
