We're rarely good here, but we don't have to win very often to call at the great odds offered; I don't think it matters too much to your bottom line either way.

The thing to take away from this hand is that you should have been all-in OTT against a player shaping up to be fishy, and not had this decision to make. It's harder to track without a proper HH giving pot sizes, but given that you made a 16bb 3bet and we're 100bb effective it should be very easy to get all the money in OTT without overbetting.

Ap super gross spot. Dont think I feel like calling as despite the ace a fish's call call donk is pretty strong. I would fold in play personally but I am unsure if that's "correct " - I can cmfirm it totally sucks though. : ( yeah lets gii ott!

By my calculations you have to be ahead 18% + rake to b/e here, I just don’t think you are. I’d assume any unknown players to be passive fish.

You could look into how vulnerable jj is to river cards given some range ideas to see if half pot was right long term. I don’t think it was necessarily wrong. But I’d certainly be betting bigger, and very likely given pot size it’d be all in most of the time.

The reasons being I think he can call a lot with worse hands. You might even get calls from nut fd’s. I’d imagine all 10x hands will come along. If I thought V was likely to fold lots of tp and fd hands to an all in but call vs other bet sizes I’d do that. Probably 60-70% of the pot. But with the lack of hands here and potential fishy nature I wouldn’t be able to make that assessment.
