The turn raise against this villain I feel is a range that includes a lot of combo draws / pair + fd / etc. On the river, it does not seem to improve the range so I called. Is this too loose a call?

Not sure if I'm raising him pre. He's aggressive and we can easily play position and float.

As played.... yeah its a loose calL.

The turn raise is pretty interesting to me. With the flush draw completing, he probably doesn't want to raise things like sets and two pair for value. He'd probably want to call, get to showdown, see if he could catch an out to improve. The same is probably true for straights.

There doesn't seem to be many flushes he could have. The ace, king, queen and ten of diamonds are all out, so it's pretty hard to have a flush. There's J9, 98, 87, 76 and 65, but that's only 5 combos.

There also don't seem to be many draws that he'd want to bluff with. Maybe he's turning weak pairs/low pocket pairs into bluffs.

Given that he's aggressive and there shouldn't be too many value hands in his turn raising range, I think you have to call.

As for the river, I think it depends a lot on the player and his tendencies. Some are the type to fire again on the river 100% of the time, in which case you should call. Others are the type to take one stab and give up. Without any reads, I'd err on the side of assuming the latter and fold, especially given the suboptimal pot odds.
