50NL, 100BBs effective. I hold KK in the BB. Opponent is a solid tight aggressive reg.

Folds to button who bets $1.17. SB folds, I raise to $3.76 and button calls.

Flop($7.34) J 9 J
I check
BU bets $3.67
I call

Turn($14.28) J 9 J 5
I check
BU bets $9.69
I call

River($32.58) J 9 J 5 A
I check
BU moves All-in making it $33.54 for me to call

What do you do here? What is the strongest/weakest you are calling with here?

I don’t think we can check this flop. How would we play AK?
I think we have to at least have an A to call the river.

I was going for a check flop line and then bet turn and river for value since I don't feel I can go 3 streets myself on this board texture for value. With AK, I probably call flop and fold turn which is part of the reason I was leaning on calling the river since I can't really have the ace there, unless I hold A9 or AJ.

What line would you prefer in this spot instead? Bet flop, bet turn, and check river; bet flop, check turn, and bet river; bet all 3 streets?

Bet flop, check turn, check river on A river. On any other river bet river.

This is an awkward flop for kings. We are protected from getting reraised if we bet since we have alot of Jx in our range so I guess just bet flop? We're blocking KJ and one K is a club which I suppose is a tiny bit relevant to block KJcc leaving only one combo of KJs left.

Villain could be doing this with 87s turned double gutter. I'm thinking call down and calling river when A hits since it removes an A from his combos of AJ. He's never turning a rivered A he caught into a bluff so he's only repping Jx or a bluff.

I did end up calling. He had T7. I feel like KK may be the weakest hand I can call here with, but maybe I just got lucky this time.

Do you call with either QQ or TT? QQ blocks QT and TT blocks a lot of missed draw combos so maybe no.

Given that I bet KK here and he calls. Then turn, I check and he bets and I call. Then on river, I check and he bets, would you call then?
